Just watched the first half highlights…looks like their big guy isn’t overly athletic, more of a Durr, banger type. Lefty, but there was one play where he got a nice pass and was 3 feet from the basket and laid it in with no defense. Any of our big guys would flush that baby…athletically our bigs are going to be tough guards for them. Boise States big guy seemed to have his way scored double figures, and he didn’t look like anything special, just a solid player. my guess is they will dig hard on our bugs and like severs games if we can get our Guards plus Kopp to hit 7+ threes combined, we will win going away. If they make 4-6 it’ll be a dog fight..if they shoot poorly we will lose…just my opinion

Maybe coach Shep just doesn't care for XJ....I don't have an issue with XJ's game and what he has done. I think as he goes the team goes, maybe even more so than TJD this year. The one problem I have with XJ is the theatrics that we must endure every game....being an instigator, flopping around all the time, that is the stuff that make people not like him. If he could just chill out on that stuff he would probably be one of everyone who watches favorite players. Don't get me wrong, I will root for him just like anyone else on the team, but I could do without the nonsense.

Oh I know it’s parent driven with the coaches aide. I can’t fault the kids, but it’s a shame, in my opinion.

Next they will get Northview…I’ll be rooting for Jack. Northview is a decent team, but they have 3 kids that start for them that played for other schools last year. A kid that played at Linton, one that play at South Vermillion, and one that played for Terre Haute North…somehow they all ended up in Brazil…

I’ve seen him live a few times too. I agree with this assessment. I think the motor is lacking at times. He has all the tools and at times he can dominate, but then in the same game kind of disappear for stretches. Not sure if it’s because he deferred to Hale last year and this year the Walters kid handles the ball a lot, but more assertiveness would help. Who knows like you mentioned, maybe he needs challenged more from better competition.

Probably because he picked up basketball a little later too. Said he didn’t start playing until he was to the states at like age 10. Probably a late bloomer. Hope it works out

I didn't say it was....but in the original post on this topic, it was as if it was a waste of time to even talk to Little. I am not saying send all over resources to Finland, but if we get told about a player, like this...I do think it is worth our time to recruit them.

I know what your saying…but if Fife and Woodson believes this kid has the goods, we’ll I trust their judgement. There isn’t anyone they’ve brought onboard that I haven’t been impressed with.
