  1. When you are dealing with the Portal, the cake is always a lie.
  2. I think one of the main grievances with Archie is that he was hired at the same time as Underwood and Holtmann and they have had much more success than him and it didn't take four years. Archie had a two year head start on Juwan Howard, and that program is light years ahead of us.
  3. I have to believe that one of the reasons the Big Ten established the 6 game rule is to eliminate gamesmanship. You don't want teams to arbitrarily cancel games against opponents they don't want to face, so you set a minimum number of games that have to be played. In hindsight, IU should have cancelled their game with Ohio St. and they would be going to the Big Ten Championship game.
  4. I was really surprised that three 11 seeds made it through to the Sweet 16. I know there were three sub-10 seeds that made it to the Sweet 16 in 2013 (Oregon #12, La Salle #13, Florida Gulf Coast #15), does anyone know of any other year that has happened?
  5. I know how much everyone is disappointed that the NCAA Basketball Tournament wasn't played this year. I came across a simulation that was done by the website FiveThirtyEight for both the men's and women's tournaments. It isn't quite as good as the real thing, but in the men's tournament they simulated Indiana as an 11 seed beating BYU as a 6 seed in the first round.
