  1. every single foul called against us will be huge.
  2. Another silver lining. Bardo called the Wisky / MSU game. So, he won't be calling ours.
  3. Will the season go up in smoke tonight?
  4. I called my divorce attorney and yelled at him for no good reason.
  5. LOL. With the pre-game news, it kind of feels like you already did.
  6. I frankly don't care if these guys do it off-season. But, during season, when it's against program rules, is not cool. Not cool at all.
  7. So much for this being Lander's chance.
  8. Where there's smoke, there's weed. I wonder if he's counting rob and his injury the 5th. Or, is this a quintet of suspensions instead of a foursome.
  9. Are you disputing what Don Fischer said?
  10. A couple of these guys have been disciplined earlier this year. If this is violation #2 for some of these guys, I'm beyond disappointed. If I'm the coaches, and even the other players, I'm starting to think about the old 'fool me once', 'fool me twice' saying. This can't be good for team unity when other guys are following the rules while others are jeopardizing the season.
  11. Brings the staggered punishment concept into play.
  12. Violation could have just been discovered last night or today.
  13. Wonder if the coaches and athletic department would consider a staggered punishment. Two now and two later so we don't have 4 guys out at once.
  14. More likely we'll see a lot of Galloway and Race bringing it up with Galloway doing much of the handles in the half-court.
  15. If it was the majority of posters, i would take it with a grain of salt. Since it's @RoadToZionthat's sharing it, I'm worried. We could likely get by without 3 of those guys for a few games. X would be very, very, very difficult to replace.
  16. Welp, if true. Some people get their wish for changes in the starting lineup. And, those 4 guys need a serious ass kicking.
  17. Daily Commute Musical Update I never liked this song. But, the one or two times a year I hear it, I'm compelled to listen to it for some reason. Acid flashback? I never did acid, so that can't be it. And, as far as I know, my parents didn't either. Whatever the reason, this one falls into a unique category. Songs I Don't Like but Listen to Anyway
  18. Who knows. Maybe the extra competition will light a fire under Evansville and they come out of it as a better program.
  19. Keys to winning, one offensive and one defensive: 1) Score more points than they do. 2) Hold them to fewer points than we score.
  20. True story. Other than The National Anthem, 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' is the only song I've ever memorized all the lyrics. I think I was 11 or 12 when it came out and I thought it was such a cool song.
  21. I have a feeling USI will have more success than Evansville.
  22. Breaking story related to this conversation. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/33238595/major-league-baseball-stops-testing-players-steroids-nearly-20-years-report-says
  23. My wife and I were talking last night as we were watching. Asked the kids (both teenagers) if they wanted to watch. You would have thought we were asking them to donate a kidney. When I was growing up, watching the Olympics was something we did as a family. Especially, the Winter Games, since it was usually too cold to do anything outdoors. I'll admit, I didn't find time this year to sit down and watch until last night. But, they sucked me in real quick. Stayed up until after 1:00 AM watching. And, the best thing about this year's game, is what you see in Prime Time is live. It's happening tomorrow in China, but it's live on our TV sets. I found a site that was posting live scoring and it was about 20-30 seconds ahead of what I was seeing on TV.
