  1. LOL. Auburn fouled like 7 times on that posesssion, and the refs ate the whistle.
  2. That's UK's trainers fudging the results of his concussion test then. He was out of it and almost certainly concussed.
  3. Yeah, they likely are going to get blown out now. But, Auburn is the better team anyway.
  4. First time I've seen either UK or Auburn play this year. Auburn is good enough to win it all.
  5. I have no doubt you are an IU fan, and passionate about it. I've defended you in the past when you've been negative, because deep down I knew Crean had limitations and Archie was just not good. But, dude, this is our biggest win in a long, long, time, and its just not the right time to be negative. We have one of our own at the helm, and a roster full of players who are easy to like. It wont be perfect. Not every game. Even '76 wasn't even though our record said so. Embrace the fact we are headed in the right direction and enjoy moments like this instead of focusing on the negative.
  6. We won the game. For that very reason alone, it was not a 'massive mistake'.
  7. My guess is he does not. It was a decision based significantly on the head coach. While Mike Woodson would have been a significantly more attractive option than Archie Miller, he had no way of knowing how that would have worked out when he made his decision. Regardless of who IU's coach is, he likes Painter. One thing to keep in mind is that, despite where he grew up, he was not a die-hard IU fan. It's not like he chose not to play at the school of his dreams.
  8. Banking. Is that what we're calling it these days (wink, wink)?
  9. Lunardi's bracket today has IU at 8. It also has 13-6 Marquette and 13-5 Texas at 7. Indiana has a higher NET than Marquette. Texas is 1-4 on the road (same as IU) According to KenPom, Texas' non-conference strength of schedule is 358th (Dead Last in D1). IU is not great at 325th, but we're not dead last. So, I ask you. Why are we an 8 and those two teams a 7?.
  10. Based on his comments about what the women wear, I'm guessing he manages some Gentlemen's Clubs.
  11. Only acceptable if you beat Montana State.
  12. He's in my 'First Four Out' when ranking the 68 most knowledgeable bracketologists (out of a pool of 72).
  13. Growing up, I always imagined him as being a little intellectually challenged because of his appearance and his music. But, in later years, seeing him give interviews and such on TV, he was quite intelligent.
  14. Galloway is the straw that makes the 2nd unit work. The difference between how that unit performed when he was out injured and how it is performing now is significant. If you swap Galloway with Kopp, the 2nd unit has no movement and nobody that can break down the defense.
  15. Kopp does not fit with our 2nd unit. Not at all. Stewart can play with the 2nd unit a little bit, but cannot impact that group nearly to the level Galloway does. Someone should straight up ask Trey. Would you rather play the first 8 minutes of the second half against Purdue, or the last 12. I think we all know what his answer would be.
  16. Why are we making a big deal about who is a 'starter'? The bottom line is the guys playing the best should play the most. That's what happened last night. Rob and Galloway were on the court during crunch time, not Stewart or Kopp. Nobody is going to play 40 minutes, so I ask you. Given the way the game went last night, are we satisfied those two were on the floor at the end, or is it that important that we call them 'starters'. If Galloway starts the game or 2nd half guarding Ivey, maybe he is in foul trouble and cant be aggressive at end of game. Maybe if Rob starts out against Purdue's first unit, his early shots are more contested, he misses them, and he does not have his confidence build. For those that are still hoping for a lineup change, please explain to me WHY that is so important. And, always starting the best 5 is NOT a valid reason. It's all about matchups and being one step ahead of the opposing coach with your situational substitutions. Having Rob, Trey, and Geronimo coming off our bench works to our advantage. It's plain as day to me and I'm surprised not everyone can see it understand that.
  17. Got to work today and the button pops off my dockers. Thank goodness for my belt. But you know what, as an IU fan, even if your pants dont button, the day after the Hoosiers beat Purdue, you cant help but feel like you are 'dressed for success'.
  18. I'm not sure TJD and Durr have been on floor together for even 1 second this season.
  19. Galloway my actually be more valuable off the bench. The important thing is that he played the last 12 minutes of the game. Woodson recognized that Trey needed to be on the floor at crunch time.
  20. So... the headline reads 'Cockburn sidelined by head related injury'
  21. I think TJD is still feeling the injury a bit. We will need another solid effort from Durr and may see more of Geronimo as well.
  22. If you were a PU fan, I would have to point out you misspelled 'ignorant'.
  23. Edey gives Purdue a significant advantage that other teams dont have when you think of rebounding in that situation. And, with the chaos of the play, he almost certainly would get fouled on the put-back.
