RIP MEATLOAF

Recommended Posts

Meat Loaf was one of those artists for me that I wouldn't sit down and play his albums at home or in the car, however, I liked quite a few of his songs, and whenever they would be played on the radio or a playlist, I enjoyed hearing it and would never turn the station or skip it. RIP

Growing up, I always imagined him as being a little intellectually challenged because of his appearance and his music.  But, in later years, seeing him give interviews and such on TV, he was quite intelligent.

Absolutely...reminded me a lot of Sam Kinnison both in looks and intellect.

Great story about Yankee icon Phil Rizzuto and his part in "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights." Good stuff...

RIP Meatloaf...

Ellen Foley sang the female lyrics on "Paradise". Her nephew was one of my roommates at IU. She also played the prosecutor, Billie for one season on the sitcom Night Court, but was replaced by Markie Post.
