IU Scott
https://www.on3.com/news/darryn-peterson-down-to-8-schools-arkansas-baylor-indiana-kansas-kentucky-michigan-north-carolina-ohio-state/ Doesn't sound like we will get a visit Peterson plans to take five official visits before making a decision. He says those five will be to Ohio State, North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, and Arkansas. Dates have not yet been scheduled. Several schools included in his top 8 have already hosted Peterson on unofficial visits, including Ohio State, Michigan, and Kentucky. Makes zero sense.

Unfortunately I think we’ll see much more of this going forward. IU is known to be one of the stronger programs NIL wise. If a recruit can use that as leverage, even when he has no intention of playing in Bloomington, he can enhance the bidding war.

This is why “A couple of programs on Peterson’s top 8 list are adidas schools, including Indiana and Kansas. The six remaining schools are either Nike (Arkansas, Baylor, Kentucky, Ohio State) or Jordan Brand (Michigan, North Carolina).”
