#2 Arkansas Friday at 5pm

ULL Sat at noon

#6 Stanford at noon Sunday

Any win this weekend is huge, BUT.... if we play three competitive games, that is very important, as well. These are not equal playing fields that we are working through, compared to our first four opponents.

As expected, Arkansas will counter Modugno with experienced right hander Connor Noland. Believe Noland also played football for the Hogs at one point.

T6 4-1 Arkansas

New pitcher for IU FR Ryan Kraft. I thought Modugno looked better to a lot better today then last Friday. Still don't think hes a Friday night guy, but I'm not an MLB scout or a D1 baseball coach.... and it might simply be that he just has to pitch in that spot because we don't have anyone else. Thats certainly possibly.

Brehmer in. Works a scoreless inning. Looked MUCH better than last week.

Assumed he will get the 9th and keep everyone for games 2 and 3.

There's a certain art to a coaching staff setting up their pitching for a weekend.

Hoosiers will start 4 TR FR today and I'm all for it. I think it was much needed.

He benched Fougerousse halfway through the game yesterday for Mathison.

This game is really big for IU, I think. Losing today and having to beat a top 10 Stanford team to avoid another sweep wouldn't be a great spot to be in.

Matthew Ellis with his 2nd absolute bomb of the year. Leadoff HR.

Mathison drives in a run

And now ULL has scored with 2 outs.

T3 2-1 IU

We are vistors today. Perkins at 36p through 2 innings, which was a problem last weekend, as well.
