Castellanos, Schwarber, Harper, Hoskins, etc.

The Phils going to score a bunch of runs.  The question will be whether the defense gives most of them back.

Castellanos and Schwarber platoon in LF?  Or do they platoon at DH?

They both will be in the lineup 90% of the time.  One will be in left and one will be at DH.  Schwarbs can also play some first base if they prefer him there over Hoskins.

Watching the Reds and Cubs on Marquee network. They was giving a couple of stats for pitchers that probably won't ever be broken.  One was 28 straight complete games and 75 straight games of going 6+ innings for a starter.

Cy Young - 511 wins

Cy Young - 315 losses

Walter Johnson - 110 Shutouts

My wife is a huge Castellanos fan.  She already had me check to see when Philly was coming to Cincy.  August 15-17.

Now that's funny. Same here but also for Schwarber. Only problem is Cubs play Philly last week of regular season T-Thursday. By that time the Cubs will be 20 out and promising us again there isn't a cap on spending $ this off season.

So the Cubs did spend some money

Hope he pans out as well as another Suzuki did for the Mariners (and others)...

Amazing part to me is our payroll is around $160M so far....and half these guys aren't even starters on playoff caliber teams. Pretty impressive actually to spend that much and not one Cub fan can tell you more than 5 starters.

So after 8 spring training games the Reds are above .500, so we are in our way to the championship

Oh, somewhere in this favoured

land the sun is shining bright.

The band is playing somewhere, and

     somewhere hearts are light:

And somewhere men are laughing.

     and somewhere children shout,

But there is no joy in Mudville--

     mighty Casey has struck out.
