There will likely be a video similar to what Bacot released on Twitter. Speculation based on a couple things I know to be true unrelated to the draft projections. There is always a chance things could change but that’s ok.

Trace has given his all to IU and he deserves his moments. His circle should be very proud of the fantastic person he is.

Glad you brought this up. In our world of fandom I thought TJD's reaction to Bacot's release was something that he usually doesn't do. I know it's just a wow comment but it seemed more than that. Almost like I want to do that for my release when I say I'm coming back.

Just speculating on my part but glad someone else is bringing this up.

Here are some Dexter Dennis highlights from last season.

Looks strong and athletic, but odd form on his jump shot. Not quite the XJ shot put, but more of a two handed push shot. Seems to have a low release at times. Not surprising that his 3 pt % is what it is. In the video, an announcer referred to him as WS's defensive specialist. It can be argued whether that is IU's greatest need, but if he transfers to IU, that should be the expectations. Offense should be viewed as a bonus.

Shooting is needed but scoring is a necessity and there is more than one way to score.

I saw a small clip of JJ Redick talking about how some people complain that there is no defense in the NBA and that its not because players arent trying in the NBA but there is SOOOO much better spacing. He also added that the college game hasnt evolved at all. Teams (not just Duke) are still running the same stuff they did when he was there.

So ill agree shooting isnt the only way to score, but we need that skill upgraded accross the board to give our work horses room to do what they do best.

He isn’t wrong and it’s why shooting is a necessity in college. Teams can pack it in, etc. I don’t understand a high volume 3 pt shooter who can’t hit them. IU as of the way it looks and unless someone significantly improves could potentially be a worse shooting team than this year.

He fits that.

I'd love to see a team with shooters have them hoist shots up 3-5 feet behind the 3 point line. Some kids are plenty strong to get those shots in a decent clip if practiced. Look what the addition of Trae Young did for Oklahoma - until he was triple teamed when he crossed half court.

Give me DD and McNeil and tell Logan to get lost if TJD comes back.

Don’t understand the negativity toward Logan Duncomb ; the few minutes I saw him thought he looked for the limited minutes and situation. Think he’s a good player and would fit in well in Woody’s offense.

The negativity comes from the fact that coach didn't feel like he could play him at all last year. Even when we had 7 scholarship players available, coach still didn't think he was worth a try. Now, if he's back next year then coach must have hope and think he will help the team more than some transfer, so, if he's back, I'll regain a bit of optimism. Right now, I don't have a lot.

Which didn't happen last year. Kopp played because he was the best available, nothing more, nothing less.

Absolutely.  Outside of the Northwestern game, I don't think Woody intentionally kept better options on the bench.  You want to play, take it from him.  I could see that happening next season.  Don't know who, but surely someone takes a leap.  Maybe it's Miller Kopp!??
