Me too

When I see big time recruits picking teams like UW or LSU it just kind of throws up a red flag to me.

Wasn’t Stewart from New York and the new coach at Washington originally on Syracuse’s staff? Seems he might be familiar with the kids recruitment.

Yes. Isaiah Stewart is from Rochester NY, an hour or so down the road from Syracuse, and the Orange were his first offer. Mike Hopkins was a longtime assistant coach for Syracuse, and at one point Boeheim's next in line, until last season when he took the head coaching job at Washington. The explanation for why Stewart would pick Washington is as simple as choosing to play for the head coach that recruited him the longest, and with whom he has the best relationship.

Stewart to announce Sunday.  Fingers crossed it's Washington.  Really hoping Brooks commits soon, if Stewart chooses Washington, Mich St will miss again on a big time recruit.  This will cause me to worry a little that Izzo may try and go all out, more above and beyond than before to get Keion.

He has told friends, family and teammates it is Washington.

That is good that he isn't going to MSU.  Also might be good for us with Brooks if Stewart doesn't pick MSU since they are good friends

Good luck to him.......what is funny is the 'Cuse really might have screwed up with Hopkins.  It appears that Mike knows his stuff, and the Pac-12 is probably the easiest of the power conferences.

I'm glad its Washington, if not us. I was looking forward to seeing this kid play next year. I guess I'll have to wait a year when he goes pro.

He could be a star out there as really the pac 12 doesn’t have much else going for it.  Long way to travel for college but just prepares him for life in the league the next year.

I have family that lives in Bellevue near Seattle. It's a great area. UW campus is fine.....but if I'm a big time college recruit there is no way in hell I choose a Pac 12 school. No exposure to 80% of the country. Most of the games start as we head to sleep. It's like Kris Wilkes. If he wasn't from here....would anyone know a thing about him?

My son is in the army and stationed at JBLM just south of Seattle.   I have been out there three times in the last 1.5 years.  Beautiful out there, rains a lot, 9 to 10 months a year.  Great place to visit, but you wouldn't be able to get this cat to the live on the left coast.
