Figured that but it is to bad for the big ten. It just seems like PSU and teams like them just can't put everything together and with Carr leaving it will leave a big hole in their lineup. Just because they might not make the NBA, doesn't mean their talents are sought overseas. I understand where you're coming from, but I don't think we should judge these kids just because they want to try to make some money doing what they like. I get that, but that kid is not going to be making good money playing anywhere. He wasn’t even a major contributor on his lower level college team. Seems like a head case to me with the way he’s moved around, not to mention the porn star name change.

If it were me I wouldn't ever leaver early but if I did I would want to be guaranteed of being drafted in the top 15. If you are not drafted in the first round a roster spot is not guaranteed so you are taking a huge chance.

What is the cutoff date for kids to declare for the draft or go through the process. I would have thought if Morgan was declaring he would have done it by now. Guest
College basketball underclassmen entering NBA draft process - USA TODAY https://apple.news/AvU8OCcmwSRWV9ABTLoc6rA Here's an up to date list. Interesting to me is that in the list of kids who have not signed with an agent, there's a Montana State kid. Maybe Fouls was onto something. If the MSU coach is putting kids in the league, they could still be a dark horse candidate for Romeo.

Best case scenario, they get drafted and make millions. Probably the worst case scenario for most of them is they go to the G-League and start making $75,000 a year while basketball becomes their full-time job without the practice limitations and school work to do. And, you get more opportunities to demonstrate your skills for the Million Dollar Jobs. Most of us College Graduates recognize the value of having a college degree. But most of these players believe they are NBA players and don't value the degree like we do. They are guaranteed a $75,000 salary but can make up to $275,000 because pay corresponds to which league they are playing in.
