Romeo Langford

Agreed.  Romeo's three point shooting struggles are part of the problem.  But, some of the conversation here is implying his very presence on the team is causing an issue.

I haven't been a part of that conversation at all. I'm just talking about what's going on on the court. Those three (Langford, Smith and Fitzner) need to shoot respectable from three, and the fact that they've been so abysmal is really hurting the team offensively. Literally nobody even defends Smith, and if Langford and Fitzner could shoot a respectable percent from 3 it would open so much other stuff up.

How could his presence be the problem, half the team help recruit him..most players went to his games, they knew what they were getting before he ever got here

Hopefully CAM gets rid of the problem whoever it might be.

He has to, he has no choice.  If there is a problem or problems in the locker room and he allows them to come back next year and we are roughly in the same place next year we are now, it's his neck on the line.  He is smart enough to know that.

Wondering if this kind of thing is what is holding up Brooks on committing

Damon Bailey was 5 times the God that Romeo was when he joined IU and he integrated into that team just fine.  If there are players that can't deal with that or the coaches can't manage that, then that is not Romeo's fault.  Yes, he came in as a celebrity, but point me to something concrete that makes him anything but a humble young man that wants to win.

My freshman year. Sat next to Bailey in H105 discussion class on Friday in Ballantine. He wore a Kentucky hat. Can't tell me there wasn't some issues.

Kind of a catch-22 here.  If RL does fall out of being a lottery pick, that will be used against Archie on the recruiting trail, if it hasn't already started, ala KBJ.

Sure that could be a negative recruiting - but we don’t have a ton a talent shooting the ball anyways. He could come back next year and play with players he’s a lot more comfortable with and not only be a lottery pick, but maybe the # 1 pick if he can develo a shot

Non freshmen don’t go first in the draft. Pretty sure Blake Griffin was the last one to pull that off

For what it is worth, which might not be anything....a tibid passed on today was that Smith picked IU over Villanova because he wanted to make his own mark and not be in the shadow of Brunson.  There are connections, if true, his attitude towards Romeo and others.  Now this is just connecting dots and might not have backing.

Justin has been given the opportunity to do just that... we will continue to wait for it.  Romeo isn't stopping Justin from making his mark.  Justin is...
