I would not immediately discount information coming from people in/around New Albany or those with strong New Albany connections. Just because someone may not be connected on the state or national level does not mean they don't have solid information on this particular recruitment. If the only way Romeo comes to IU is if Sean East comes as well, then I don't feel particularly confident about it. I haven't seen or heard any reports about IU staff's relationship with him. I feel like that puts Archie and Co. in a very tough position. It can't be easy trying to convince East in a couple of weeks/months that IU is the best decision for what he personally wants/needs out of his college experience. Neither of them show much expression so it has been hard to know how close they are. Also East has lived under Romeo's shadow throughout his high school career, so I wasn't sure if East was ready to shed that or if he would prefer sticking with Romeo if he had the chance.
