Rodman was Six inches taller than Bailey ! So ,of course Rodman was a much better rebounder than Damon ! However , Damon was a much better offensive player , imho ! Had i been a college basketball coach ,I would have recruited both , vbg ! P.S. I believe that Damon's NBA career was cut short due to injury !!!

Nope.  I was two years old the last time you could see Bailey play on television.  Can you name something Bailey did better than Rodman at the NBA level?

Bailey was by far a better basketball player than Rodman.  Damon would school him 1-1.

Rodman played in the NBA for all those years because he was historically great at one thing.   I mean all time great. He wad not, however, a well-rounded basketball player.  We need to understand that the NBA does not only save spots for complete ballplayers.  There are specialists on every roster.  Whether it be shooting, rebounding, defending, or just being tall.  Better players never make it in the league because of the roster spots taken by specialists.

1) Once again admitting to never having seen him play, I highly doubt that a skinny 6’3 white guy who averaged 13 ppg in college and never played a game in the NBA would school a 6’7 physical freak who made the NBA all-defensive first team seven times in a game of one on one.

2) You didn’t answer the question.

1)  Bailey wasn't skinny, he actually was a stocky lad.

2)  Rodman WAS skinny.

3)  Rodman was a tattoo freak not a physical freak

4)  The Worm couldn't even make a FT.

5)  Do you want me to go on?

Rodman made 1,069 free throws over the course of his NBA career.  How many did Bailey make?

Actually on another board we were having a similar discussion over who might be a better college compared to NBA potential.  It was discussing who will have a better year next year Carsen Edwards or Romeo. I thought Edwards might have a better year because he is a junior and has college experience and others were just looking at potential and who is the better player. Romeo has the most potential and a better pro prospect but that does not mean he will be the better college player next year.

'It is true that Romeo's potential is greater and that it does not me that he will have a better year.  But what areas would Edwards have advantages over Romeo except for experience?  Romeo is highly skilled and that I think he was college ready his sophomore year of highschool.

Shoot, ball handling and passing

Really?  How many shots did he take in the NBA?  How many passes did he make?  Shoot, how many dribbles?

Look, I’m as much of an IU homer as the next guy, but it seems ridiculous to me to claim that a guy who wasn’t even the best player on his college team for most of his career and never played a minute in the NBA was a better player than a Hall of Famer.

I never said he was a better player but told you what skills he had better than Rodman.  Another example I gave on the other board when talking about Romeo vs. Edwards was who would you rather have in college Alford or VO or Cody.  VO and Cody were both top draft picks but Alford had a better college career but did nothing in the pros.
