Hoosierhoopster
Siap -- The G League announced today that player base salaries are being increased to $35,000. And players can earn additional monies through call ups and affiliate player bonuses. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23217065/g-league-announces-players-salaries-increased-35000 - they also get housing and insurance from the G League, and while there are 28 affiliated teams now, when the League expands to 30 player salaries are expected to rise again. Like for McDonald's AA Darius Bazley who's going to the G League (decommitted from Cuse), this can make the G League more of an attractive alternative. Would look for more players coming out of HS to go this route.
Indy1987
Call ups couldn't happen for the players that go from High School. Unless they are changing the rule. But yea this may encourage more to skip the college route. Go Hoosiers!!!
