hoosiertildeath
The Dodgers by my count have lost six games by only 1 run and have lost five games by 2 runs while only winning two games by one run ! In my opinion that is because they have a manager to dumb to use the suicide squeeze or the regular sacrifice bunt !!!!

It's too bad Pollock can't stay healthy. He's one of the better players in baseball when he's healthy. Arizona has been struggling lately too, so I could see them falling back a bit. As bad as the Dodgers have played, they're still only 8 games back, so they could still make a run at it if they start playing better.

Assuming what we know about Bryce and his affinity for the Cubs...that's one they miss on. Machado could be there but Gregorious is a really good SS so I would say 50/50 maybe. Kershaw is a native Texan and I've read more than 1 article saying he might want to go back home and play for the rest of his career. Will be exciting to see what happens. To me there's a real chance of missing all 3. If I had to choose 1 that would go there...it would be Kershaw. Self reporting violation. Gregorious is now 1 for his last 45. Maybe Machado to Yankees is gaining steam! He was player of month in April. Batting average dropped from .372 to .248.

He was the SS of the future, they unloaded him in a heartbeat. D-backs did as well. His numbers have been solid with the Yanks............Hmmmmmmmm

Proud2BAHoosier
Yanks win a wild one last night in the Bronx against the 'Stros! Down 5-3 bottom of the 9th with one on base, Gardy went "Yardy" to tie the game. In the 10th, Miguel Andujar doubles and rookie sensation, Gleyber Torres singles him home for the walk-off win. This was a big W to keep pace with the Sawks and the Yanks won despite committing a whopping 5 errors!! Go Yanks
