SpiderMonkey
Due to all the bourbon discussion taking place in the Romeo thread, thought it would be nice to have an ongoing thread here for reviews, questions and just general bourbon discussion. Drroogh
If you are ever in Owensboro, KY stop in the basement of the Miller House Restaurant. They typically stock over 600 different Bourbons. Here is the list they have on their website. http://www.themillerhouserestaurant.com/pdf/2014bourbonlist.pdf

SpiderMonkey
I stumbled upon this article awhile back and found it pretty interesting. Indiana distillery is a very prevalent maker of whiskeys for start up companies. https://www.thedailybeast.com/your-craft-whiskey-is-probably-from-a-factory-distillery-in-indiana
ephul
I love my Makers. Has a different, distinct taste from the rest.
Seeking6
Back when I was first coming out of college in professional settings I thought it would be wise to find a mixed drink instead of pounding beers. Makers and Ginger Ale was my choice. Only problem was I drank it like it was Coors Light and sadly 20 years later I still haven't returned. The phrase bourbon though always makes me think of a scene from the tv show Dallas when JR was asked what do you like in your coffee....and he just says like only JR could and replies....bourbon.
