Chad B
Have to give TC credit for being able to hang with those two. That is really cool.

Hoosierhoopster
Wade has always remained tight with Crean, has said he considers Crean his best coach, probably for how he developed him. It's good to see them together, and here's to hoping Crean does well at his next gig.
Billingsley99
When coach crean was at Marquette he sent me an entire series of shooting workouts thathe used with Wade. We implemented those in our summer and many during season and we became very good inside 15ft. When going to practice at IU i did not see those drills. Seeking6
I'll always remain a big fan of Coach Crean. He took our program from absolute dumpster fire to a couple a conf titles. Although he fell short of F4/National Titles I'll always cheer for his teams when he starts coaching again after this season.
milehiiu
Business majors will know what I mean when I say Tom Crean reminds me of the "Peter Principle". And like you, Seeking, I agree, that does not make him a bad guy. In fact, unless I missed it.... I have yet hear him talk bad about IU.
Coach1K
I think in looking at Crean you have to give him for trying to bring the program back to normal after what he had inherited from the Sampson debacle yes things were crazy and he only had walk ons when he started but started to make some headway after the time period of not being able to recruit. IU4Ever
A good man with good intentions but perhaps too stubborn for his own good in many respects.
5fouls
It will be very interesting to see if Crean changes his approach at his next gig, specifically in regards to defense.

I believe that you don't teach an old dog new tricks. Crean's shortcomings will follow him where ever he goes in the coaching world. An outstanding human being but in my opinion he was an average coach. I wish him nothing but the best but I am glad he is no longer leading the program. tdhoosier
It won't happen, but I wouldn't mind to bring him in as a guest for Midnight Madness just to thank him. For getting the program on the right track and handing over Archie a relatively stable basketball program. While I agreed that Crean needed to go, he has been nothing but classy since his exit....I think we throw some class back his way.
