Not sure if it means anything or if it's a diversion tactic but Anthony Harris followed Romeo, TJD, Armaan, Rob P, and Lester Q over the weekend. Most of the people he has recently followed on Twitter are no one of interest.

Something tells me we at the very least will have an answer this week. Between AH's visit, Lester Q visit, and Trendon decision coming soon I think by this time next week we'll have a much more clearer picture of where things stand.

Maybe the staff is focusing on Harris and Quinones because they know that Watford is a long shot. That would give IU a lot of guard depth. Hunter would be the only true 3 but they could play Anderson 6’6, Quinones, and Franklin both there as well since they are 6’5 and go with three guard lineups. That could definitely open up space inside for our bigs.

That would be a stellar class !

On the off chance we land Quinones + Harris that would be better upside for this team than if we had landed Brooks in my opinion. If we could land only 1 of the 2 then I'd still be happy considering we already picked up Brunk. Not sure which one I'd want more of the 2 guards, as they both bring something different to the table. Both have decent guard size though which is good.

I would doubt we would get both because if one commits the other probably looks elsewhere.

I don’t think so. They aren’t the same player and they compliment each other with their skill sets.

That might be the case but they would also see us having RP and Durham at the guard position as well as Anderson so I don't see both coming here.

Don't forget Franklin. While they're all different players, and I think this program needs a huge upgrade in talent in the backcourt, I can't see landing Harris, Quinones and Franklin all in the same class.

I think with Harris having some PG skills, defensive mindset, and a decent shot, they'll be pushing for him over Quinones. However, Quinones obviously fills a void being a shooter, so I think they'd take either one.

Would UNC even want a third 6'3" guard in this class? Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Well Roy likes older players...and Cole Anthony is about as sure a OAD as there gets. I imagine he develops Harris slowly and mostly just use him for his defense until he has a couple years under his belt. That said having a defensive specialist to go up against the Duke's who land 5* recruits every year would be a plus. I also think Roy like those long armed guards that can create some havoc and get out in transition which is Harris's strength....UNC typically struggles more in a half court set.
