I'm on record as predicting the Hawkeyes will win at least 20 games in 2018-2019 ! Why do I say this (you may ask ?) !! Here is why :::: The Hawkeyes RETURN 2,496 of 2,630 total points scored last season OR 94.9% of their scoring from last season , including their TOP NINE SCORERS from last season !! hoosiertildeath Posted August 29, 2018 Author Report Share Posted August 29, 2018 Finally:: Rutgers ! Finished last in the Big Ten with 3 & 15 conference record and 15 & 19 overall ! Rutgers is the only Big Ten team that has not yet posted an UPDATED ROSTER for 2018-2019 ?? Based on the players Rutgers has added for 2018-2019, The Scarlet Knights could have a slightly better conference record in 2018-2019 ? Until I can finally see their UPDATED ROSTER for 2018-2019 , it is hard to draw any solid conclusion regarding the KNIGHTS !! I like their coach , Steve Pikiell !! This is only his Third season as head coach at Rutgers and he needs to continue to add the type of player to fit his style of play !! It will be interesting to see if there is any growth and improvement in 2018-2019 !! Rutgers won 12 games during his first season and increased that to 15 wins in his second season !! At least it seems that Rutgers is trending UP !! P.S. I forgot to add this :: After looking at all 14 Big Ten Teams I think the following list of teams are teams not only looking to give some payback in 2018-2019 ( for 2017-2018 Big 10 losses) BUT- I fully expect to get some payback !! #1. That is 94.9 % of their scoring that is RETURNING for 2018-2019 !! IMHO , the Hawkeyes will certainly be on the PLUS side of 20 wins in 2018-2019 !!
