Claudell Washington recently passed away.  He was a very serviceable OF.  Washington is also one of three MLB players to hit 3 HR's in a game in both the AL and NL.  Who are the other 2?

Babe Ruth is one...I know he did it probably numerous times in the AL, and once for the Boston Braves...

My other guess would be Frank Robinson...

Ruth is indeed one.

Good guess on Frank.  It is not him.  It is another former Yank.

I would never question Ricopedia but I swear I read once that Big Mac was the only player to have multiple 3hr games in both leagues

Good to question me.  Mac did indeed do it for the A's and Cards.  My bad...the internet is not always correct.

Johnny Mize was to have been the other one.  He did it with the Cardinals, Giants, and Yankees.

I am researching as I type.
