In one of the early seasons of The Simpsons Ken Griffey Jr would suffer Giantism of his head due to drinking Brain Tonic given to him from  Mr Burns

Who would have thought that Barry Bonds would suffer the same real life fate years later

Dan Patrick was telling a story yesterday about Bonds. Paraphrasing but he said if those two (Sosa/Mac) think their the best watch what happens when I start using roids. That's the part that ticks me off. Bonds was so good before but none of it matters now.

I agree. I liked Bonds in Pittsburgh but could not stand him in SF. IMO straight up I would take Griffey over Bonds all day everyday but I am biased for sure

Tough call but Griffey defense would probably win that one for me as well. Thing about Bonds. Rookie of Year, 2 MVP's in Pittsburgh. Heads west and has unreal numbers for 5-6 years before he blew his dome up with juice. Guy had 2558 WALKS during his career. Just a shame.

Without the roids does he stay healthy? Had Griffey not lost what amounted to 4 yeare due to injury he would be the HR king and have who knows how many awards.

Just heard this on radio. Which player hit a grand slam from both sides of plate in same game?

I get these two mixed up...Bill Mueller or Robin Ventura...but Ventura wasn't a switch hitter...so it is Bill Mueller.
