SteveS
Still 2-0 IU at the half. The announcers were talking about how IU wore down the UConn team last week. I don’t see that happening with Air Force. These guys live and train at 7,250ft.
snowling
Panchot gets a goal mid 1st half, followed quickly by another by Mehl; IU holds a 2-0 lead at the half. I don't believe AF has a shot on goal. GBR! Go Hoosiers!

Like Steve said.... they missed it by about 2,000 feet. Air Force is at approx 7250 feet, and Denver is at 5280 feet. The Denver Nuggets, have 5280 at the free throw lane in the Pepsi Center. The Denver Broncos have a sign in the opponents locker room reminding the other team that they are playing at 5280 feet. And the Colorado Rockies have a purple row in the upper deck designating 5280 feet. It's no joke. The air is thinner here. Anyone coming to visit needs to take it easy at first. And hydrate. Remember, it's not just the AF Soccer team working at 7250 feet.... but the entire Academy training at that altitude as well. Getting back on track. IU shut out the number one scoring team in college soccer today. IU looked dominate to my eyes.
