Not that they mean anything now, but Palm's new brackets. We are up to a 5 seed, in a region with two other B1G teams.

Interesting in comparing our seed to the other 5 seeds--notably that we spanked Marquette and MSU is only rated a 5.

Hoosiers one of only six teams with 3 or more Tier 1 wins (Kansas, MI, Duke, NC, WI)

UK an 11 seed. He left Purdue out entirely.

We should be a 4 seed based on what's around us at similar seedlings as of today. But I do like that bracket, Tennessee doesn't scare me that much

I just don't pay any attention to this stuff as of right now. The thing is who knows how any of these teams we've played end up the season. Louisville will have to go through a murderous ACC schedule playing Virginia, NC, Duke, Florida St. and several other really good teams. Now they have some chances for quality wins but could run a stretch of many losses too. Maybe once we get about 2/3 into our season we can start making sense of what is going on with teams and our seeding but right now we've barely scratched the surface of the meat of our schedule. I'd wager 1/2 the top 25 will be different by season's end and a 1/3 of the top 50 will as well. Anyways I'm glad we are getting a measure of respect but this season has a long way to go before worrying about seeding and matchups.

Updated bracket from Joe Lunardi

Has the Hoosiers as a 5 seed. Purdue slotted as an 8 seed. 10 B1G teams included.

Gives us a first round matchup with Wofford. They're solid. Fletcher Magee can shoot it; top 15 in D1 Mens Basketball history for Career 3PM.

He has Furman out? They're 27th in the NET,  ahead of a lot of teams he has in. They have a win over Villanova, who he's seeded 6th

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I would love for us to be in a bracket with Virginia and Nevada.

Not sure I'm in love with having to face Texas Tech in round 2 or Virginia in round 3...Auburn is pretty strong at the bottom of the bracket too. Nevada at the 2, meh. I'd be pretty neutral on this hypothetical draw personally.

Wofford would be a tough1st round match...I don't like that bracket at all
