Hey hats off to Michigan they are really good! You can’t take anything away from them. I feel we are a good team also but not quite in the same level as Michigan. We need a three point shooter to get us to that next level. I can’t remember the last time Fritz hit a three. Get RP back will help that some he seems to be a good outside shooter. Green has had three years to improve his game and it hasn’t happened. McRoberts doesn’t even try to score. I really think it’s going to have to come from RP an Durham.

Phinisee would have made a big difference.  Davis would have helped more than Fitzner or Moore.  so that injury hurt a lot.  i really liked the offense/defense subbing CAM did after Romeo and Juwan got their 2 fouls.  did a great job of having them in as much as he could risk.  Juwan had another big game, but man, if he made his easy shots and FTS, he would have been a monster.  McRoberts really hurts us at this point.  i know a lot of you are big fans, but he hurts us.  maybe Demezi could have knocked down some 3's?  i think we land at 24 or 25 with 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, and 31 all losing.

It was about what I expected.  I can't complain much given our injuries but sooner or later Archie just has to get a signature win.  I hope it's soon.

1 and 1/2 seasons in. Still doesn’t have his guys. Multiple injuries.

I think that your expectations are a little unreasonable

To emphasize this point...Damezi should be getting McBob's minutes from here on out.

I committed the sin early this season of suggesting that I hoped someone earned McBob's minutes this season.  I was roundly criticized for suggesting that he was better utilized as a defensive specialist off the bench to help slow the other team's momentum.

At this stage, it sounds like several players could take his minutes without much argument from the fans.

I think that is a reflection of teams k owing we struggle from three. They pack it in on is. So our "chippies" are much more contested than they should be.

In that case, teams shouldn't defend Michigan beyond 10 feet.  They did less than IU did from outside.

Had a few bad rolls on shots, and need a couple guys to step up on their open 3 opportunities.  Not a bad showing, and gives me hope we can beat them at home. Gotta start games out better still, but a lot to be happy about with so many injuries.

Key wins would be Marquette, Louisville, and Butler, so I'm not sure what that is about, there will be more.

I liked CAM's answer to the last question in the presser, "what will you work on for the next game?"  His answer was, "everything."

don't think he liked the question at that point.

As for the slow starts, maybe he needs to install the Crean walk through.  I understand they were pretty much full contact and brutal, leaving the team gasping and "ready" to play. (TIC)

Ideally, I would have liked to have rotated them the rest of the half. That way you have at least one of them out there at all times and both are more rested for the second half.

Dont get me wrong, I’m fairly pleased with how we played once we abandoned keeping them on the bench and put them in. I’m just frustrated that we let the game get out of hand when I think maybe we could have prevented that.

Hindsight is 20/20 though.  If he had kept them in and they picked up a third foul, then we were really up the creek without a paddle.

At some point you expect some of the other guys to provide a little bit of stop gap.  They completely peed their pants though...teaching moment I guess.

Long time lurker, I really enjoy all the insight provided on this board regarding recruiting and the current team.

I am impressed with strides this team is making, impressed with offensive adjustments the staff has made recently, and impressed with half time adjustments all season.

We will make noise in the conference and be in the dance.  Maybe mandatory ball to Morgan first 5 possessions would help slow starts.

We beat Illinois and lost to arguably the best team in the country on the road in a hard fought game. I would hope we're still in the top 25.
