Yes he is and hate to see anyone go down to injury. This will really hurt Iowa since they lost two other starters with Cook going to the NBA and Moss transferring. Apparently he was taking injections before games,etc...to just make the pain manageable all season. Based on some his comments it sounds like he's very willing (if not ready by November) to redshirt and come back the next year. Says he just wants to feel right again. Of course Fran has lost a good portion of that fan base already. Some are blaming Fran because he knew this was a possibility and hasn't addressed it recruiting grad transfers. Have to love fans!
