milehiiu
Fantastic contribution ! Thanks for that. Chuck Crabb. No one better to know the history of IU. And IUBB and IUFB. To our younger members, knowing it is hard to believe.... IUFB was a program to on the rise in the late 1940's under Bo McMillan. And into the 1950's under Phil Dickens. Dickens was the one who got slapped by the NCAA. First sanction until Sampson. However, Dickens till his last breath claimed he never did anything different than any of the other teams in the conference were doing at the same time. Just that he was the only one to get punished for what everyone else was doing at the time.. Phil Dickens' time at IU marked by scandal
