And then. There's this about Romeo

I think they'll try to move Hayward at some point, but he’ll have to prove he’s fully ‘back’ first.

How do you move that contract? It's one of the worst in the NBA. He is owed over 30 million this year and an option which of course he will pick up for another like 34 million the next. I think Boston has to keep him unfortunately. He is constantly in the top 10 of worst contracts....it wouldn't have been if he stayed healthy but that isn't the reality. https://thecomeback.com/nba/ranking-the-ten-worst-contracts-in-the-nba.html

Everyone is moveable for the right price. Word is he's much further along this year, so if he proves himself to be healthy and close to his old self, you can package him with the Memphis pick they own and someone like Langford. It's not going to be easy for sure, and some things have to fall into place, but it's not impossible if you're patient.

Oh yeah if you are going to give up assets with him...but that would seem crazy to do. Much better to trade the asset themselves for talent. But yeah if you are looking at a salary dump it can be done. I would just think Jaylon Brown would be the more likely guy to be moved.

Sounds as if Romeo has some ground to make up to get into the Celtics rotation.

That’s to be expected...however the one legit criticism I can see on Romeo is that he is always nicked up...seems to always have an injury, (wrist, back, thumb, groin). Hope he can stay healthy and get up to speed.
