So good to see several former Hoosiers doing well in MLB.  One would have to go all the way back to 1945, when the late legendary Ted Kluszewski finished his IU career when he hit .443, to see a baseball player from IU doing as well as several are doing today. Ted was a great athlete. Who also played football for IU, on a team that finished the 1945 season 9-0-1.

"The Big Klu's" biceps were so large, that when he first made it to the Bigs, he would rip the sleeves off of his uniform, so as not to have the sleeves hinder his swing. Eventually, teams would order sleeveless uniforms just for Ted. And when Ted got traded to the White Sox, the Sox' entire team went sleeveless one year.
