Of course, innocent to proven guilty and this looks to be a 'he said, he said'. But the NCAA just resumed their investigation into this matter - the timing seems off. I just can't imagine an always cautious IU would give CAM the green light on this one. And didn't somebody say a week ago that Kenny, while a great recruiter, was pretty weak on game planning? From a completely hypothetical & cynical standpoint, maybe the thinnking is that nothing has happened to KJ, UL, or pretty much any school involved in borderline (or over the line) activities so you gotta do certain things to compete at the top. Well from a legal standpoint he was cleared of all charges and the NCAA didn’t do anything with him so I’m guessing that they found he was acting under the orders of Pitino. Not only is he tainted, but he was a big recruiter for us when we brought in some guys who were in trouble alot. That makes you think he cannot identify high character guys in recruiting --or does not care about it in favor of talent-- and/or he does not properly mentor kids on campus to ensure they stay out of trouble.
