Great final 2 pairings today.  Just wish DJ would let the other 3 get a little bit closer.

He just jammed a par save in which feels like the 5th on the day....looks pretty good so far. Thing with DJ is right now all he needs to do is fairway and center greens. 2 putts and move along. No one else is charging yet.

My fav. Mickelson story that i can tell. We were paired with Phil in New Orleans one year. Phil 3 putts the first hole, 4 putts the 2nd. on the way to the next tee he says to Bones, i don't feel i hav

Our boys won our first ever regional championship today.  In Illinois, we do regionals first.  Shot a 357, won by 20 shots, and took top 2 spots individually.  Pretty fantastic day!

I'm familiar with the concept of hitting 2 fairways.  -5, not so much.

US Open next week.

Wonder if it gets lost in the NFL/college football/ NBAFinals/Stanley Cup/B1G starting up 😂hype ?

Definitely not ideal. My guess is it all depends on the leader board on Sunday. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday should be fine....but unless Tiger is up top nobody wins vs the NFL.

More money has been bet on Tiger to win the U.S. Open than any other golfer at William Hill sportsbooks - 18% of the money wagered on the tournament winner was on Woods as of last night.

I'll take the field.

Someone also put $45k on Phil to win. I think what I read said he’d win over 3 million if that were to happen.

I think the sportsbook is safe in reinvesting the $45k before the tourney even starts.

I'm as big of a Tiger fan as they come....but this week doesn't fit well. I do like his early/late on Thursday/Friday. This might be the first tourney that over par wins in sometime.

Loved Phil's reply when someone told him he was 75-1 to win this week. He replied something along the lines wouldn't know don't gamble....hahaha.

The rough is really challenging...5 inches and no cutting scheduled.  Got to hit fairways.  Thomas' 5 under 65 looks impressive.  Course should only get more firm, more dry, more difficult, so scoring low today is important.

I can honestly say that I have never carded a single bogey at Winged Foot.

He went 180 with a wedge holy cow

I have not played golf for 5 years but when I played it would take me a bout 2 drives to get to 380 yards.  When I was playing some I could usually hit my drive straight but was way behind my friends who could hit it far but not as accurate.

I played a round while on vacation in Michigan this summer.  Shot a 45 for 18 holes.  And, a damn tough miniature golf course it was.
