JaQuan Lyle had 9p 4r and 11a for New Mexico in their win over E New Mexico.  Teammate Carlton Bragg had 13p, 6r, 2b.

Lyle is one of those names that makes you think "Damn, he's still in college?"

Not quite into Jess Settles territory, but getting there.

James Bouknight may have one steal, so far:

Officer Gary Bourgoin, in his sworn statement, said he observed a black Audi sedan driving at a high rate of speed through Royce Circle, which has a 25 MPH speed limit, and hit a road sign, and appeared to strike another car from behind at Wilbur Cross Way. The vehicle was stopped in a parking space at Oak Apartments.

Bouknight was asked for identification and responded that he did not have any, as the driver of the second vehicle left the scene. Bouknight attempted to start the vehicle and was told to turn off the ignition. When he emerged from the car, he was asked again for ID, “he took off running,” the affidavit said.

The owner of the car told police she had not given anyone permission to use her car, and the keys had been left in the kitchen of her apartment. She and her friends, after an evening at Ted’s Bar and Restaurant and another unnamed bar near campus, invited “15 to 20 people” back to the apartment. She said, at that time, she wanted the person who drove her car to be arrested.

On Oct. 14, the owner of the car gave an amended statement, saying she “could not remember giving Bouknight permission to use the car, mainly due to her intoxication,” and did not want criminal charges brought. Bouknight had returned her keys the morning after the accident, apologized and offered to pay for damages.

What about Hafenfefer @ Minnesota.  He was in college before they built The Barn.....and that shot he hit against us in the BTT still pisses me off 🤬🤬🤬.

Sometimes misspellings are hilarious.  His name is Hoffarber, but I'm referring to him as Blake Hasenpfeffer from now on.

...and looked good. That's a miss that stings.

I think it just stings that he went in conference. Phinisee is our point guard, and now knowing that Franklin is college-ready, IU's backcourt suddenly looks pretty deep. It stinks that another conference team got him and got better by having him, but I'm not sure it really hurts IU not having him.
