Though, I think IU has a good shot, seems like everything is pointing to PU’s way right now. Got any insight on the PU front?

Nothing earth-shattering. Just that we like our chances but it could go any way still. Far from a slam dunk like it was with Colvin haha.

I can see him going to Purdue based on these 3 factors

1. his family connections

2. Engineering, though I think he said he could do business too

3. and Hagen

But, who doesn’t love a good old inter family college rivalry!

One thing that keeps getting brought up is the role Karlaftis has played in the recruitment (along with Hagen of course). That apparently has really resonated with Joe but we shall see.

I saw somewhere that Karlaftis is probably saying something on the line that Strickland can take his starting spot, due to the 2022 NFL draft. That’s probably his sales pitch

Yeah that wouldn’t surprise me. I’d be surprised if GK didn’t work his way into a first or second round pick after this upcoming season.

4. If you are about winning football, he goes to IU.

5. If he doesn't care about winning football, he goes to Purdue.
