Leathernecks
Anybody have a preview of what Kentucky is like? I haven't seen them play this year.
DireBump
They run the ball about every play because their quarterback is actually a wide receiver. They have a solid defense and they have some big O-linemen. It will be a tough game.

I haven't seen them either but was just looking at their record for the year. 7-5 with a mixed bag. Played then #9 Florida close early in the season, but struggled against teams like E.Kentucky. Rest of their scores were about what you'd expect from a 7-5 team playing against the likes of Georgia, etc. Should be a pretty good matchup. I haven't saw any games of their either, but the QB situation is the only thing I was already aware of. Sorry for the Kentucky joke I removed. Hard to help myself. KDB
Their QB is Lynn Bowden - who was committed to IU at one point in high school.

HoosierMama
So happy for these guys who get to play in January in Florida!!! Especially happy for coach and all the guys from Florida whose families don't have to travel far to watch them play.
thirdgenhoosier
There is some chatter that Kentucky might get switched to Belk and we would face Tennessee. Neither bowl has said anything on Twitter yet and Gator says they are waiting on team two.

rogue3542
How does Tennessee get to decide where they go? I'm confused about what's going on with this. I was excited for an IU-UK matchup. A potential win against Tennessee would be awesome, though.

But the lack of an official announcement is odd.
milehiiu
Welp. I would love to get Kentucky. Seeing as how, Indiana starting playing Kentucky as far back as 1893. And off and on for years after that. Till 1989, when IU and KU faced off on the gridiron every year from 1989 to 2005..... when both schools agreed to terminate the series. Tennessee does not get to decide. The decision is up to the Gator Bowl president, who has been between the two SEC teams. One thing we know for sure at the moment. IU is in the Gator Bowl. Get your flight and tickets.
