Reacher Posted January 11, 2020 Report Share Posted January 11, 2020 A few comments- Hunter with 19 minutes. Justin and Rob led the team in +/-. We won big despite not scoring a FG for 11 minutes and missing 16 free throws. Don't get too excited until OSU proves they are at least a middle of pack conference team. IUFLA Posted January 11, 2020 Report Share Posted January 11, 2020 We went almost the last 10 minutes of the 1st half without a field goal We shot 55% from the FT line We got outboarded by 1, including giving up 10 offensive rebounds But we played good D, at least in the 2nd half We didn't turn it over And our seniors came to play, especially at crunch time This team will never win "pretty" Would like to get these next 2. I agree. Will this be the start of a consistent pattern of effort or will it be like last year when we showed up for the MSU games but slept walked through others? Im thinking/hoping that Archie finally got through some of these guys and we will see more consistent effort. If we do we will get the 10 conference wins to go to the dance.
