This is a MUST win, but being a road game I’m not confident. This team, although fought at Rutgers, hasn’t shown me we should have confidence in another’s gym. We’re the much better team, so I hope we show up. But I will be more surprised if we win than if we lose.

Don’t understand why we don’t change our mindset on the road with nothing but drive to the hoop & draw the foul or pass for open dunk?  At what point does 10% from deep start to sink in before we abandon ship?  Reminds me of Tin Cup and ole Roy continuing to go for ole Glory!  Never seen an Indiana team so BROKE before in my life and every shot that goes up we just yell BROKE!  Freaking D1 for sakes.

There are ZERO banks that do anything for free.

I did recently go to the bank to get some cash. My Airplane Mechanic prefers cash and he gave be a good discount for it. ... I had to go to 3 different branches to get the amount of cash that I needed. Armed guards escorted me to my Jeep. ... My other ride is a Piper (with some REALLY kick ass avionics).

I take my cars/truck to an independent mechanic. Who gives a discount for cash.  (Try getting  that at a dealership !).

Just keep in mind. Business's are required to report to the Federal Government, any cash payment in excess of $10K.

IU wasn't able to travel last night due to their plane being stuck in Chicago (weather). Flying out to Lincoln this morning. I wonder if the delayed arrival will have any effect on the way we play today.

Will be interesting to see how they perform.  Wasn't it just a few years back that Michigan's plane "wrecked" upon take-off?  On their way to the BTT?

I think you're right about Michigan. Slid off the runway?

Awesome. No one in Bloomington knows how to look at a weather forecast?

If we shoot over 40% we win. If we shoot 35% to 39% we win in overtime. If shoot 34% and under we lose! This team hasn’t shown the ability to shoot above 34% on the road. Not feeling it for IU today! Hope I am wrong!

Hey guys I need your help. On game day, I never wear IU gear because whenever I do they lose. However, I did drink out of my IU coffee cup this morning. My conundrum is, since I already used my IU mug, should I just go full on IU gear all day?

Also I should state that I'm not really superstitious, but I am a little stitious.

It will be ugly but I think we pull this one out somehow.  I feel bad for the mods if we don’t though.  A Saturday night on a 3 day weekend when everyone is drinking.

Tell me about it

Line from The Office!

and I’m drinking out of my IU mug right now — go for it!

Lower those numbers by 5% and I agree. Though, given our last time playing them, I think we can win this one at the line - if we shoot 70% there.

I hope to see competitiveness and situational awareness from our team this evening.  On the travel delay, maybe a forced change to the road game routine will help?

Little superstitious myself but mine is a little different. I start the volume on tv at a solid 22 for Bailey. If things start going really good (especially foir home games) it gets ramped up to Calbert levels (40) and if things go very bad....it goes down to Edwards level (3). Like I said...just a little superstitious.

Who knows how this team will play?  If DG is on, we will demolish them.  Otherwise, it will likely be tight, and we may even get blown out.  We've been terrible on the road.  A win, no matter how ugly, would be a step up for this team.

I have learned not to make predictions because I'm simply lousy at it.

That said, I understand & believe the law of averages.  Clearly, we are far from being a deadly shooting team, but I in no way think we're as bad as we shot at Rutgers.  At some point we have to have a game where things just 'click' (God knows how many times it's happened for one of the opposing players against us).  Tonight would be a perfect time for that to happen for us.

This Nebraska team is really bad.  No reason for us to lose this one.  I think we win by 10+, and I would not be surprised to see this as a game where we come out and play with confidence and shoot around 40% from 3.  I think Hoiberg will get them on the right track, but not this year.

Just for reference, if Nebraska ended the year with this Kenpom ranking, they would end up as one of the worst ranked teams in the last 4 years.  These are the teams ranked 100+ in those years.  On a side note, there were some real bad B1G teams in 2016 (125, 140, 192, and 279).

2020 Northwestern - 109

2020 Nebraska - 133

2018 Illinois - 102

2018 Minnesota - 117

2018 Rutgers - 130

2017 Nebraska - 107

2017 Rutgers - 135
