IUFLA
Link I know there are a lot of people who have opinions on Coach Izzo and some of the things that have gone on at MSU over the years, but he's got a point here...
BobSaccamanno
He’s transparently taking an opportunity to rally his team by showing them he’s got their back. It’s us against the world, boys.
RJPaisley
DJ Carton's mother also addressed this issue this week about how the fan's vitriol affects the players and families. This sadly proves it is in all fan bases.

This sadly proves it is in all fan bases. It usually comes with the territory. Obviously big basketball schools have crazy fan bases, just as big football schools do. Good players with high aspirations would want to embrace that challenge. Certainly it's not for everybody just because a kid can play some ball. Kid has to have mental aptitude and fortitude to get through the daily mental grind. It must be a mental roller coaster from game to game; playing one good game makes him the hero, and he can become the biggest SOB in town when he messes up the next game. Definitely easier said than done.
Maud'Dib
It frightens me to think how much worse it will get once they start paying college athletes. Fans will expect more and feel they are more justified to openly chastise players and teams.
Brass Cannon
Honestly this criticism from any other coach and I would listen. But Izzo can shut up. It’s wrong for somebody to criticize his players but totally fine for his player to rape a woman. He’s a pathetic hypocrite and I hope they screw up their replacement hire worse than we did after Knight
