I don’t think I ever talked to her much After that…I was so shy when I first got to college…I didn’t even know that was really a thing people did. Just thought only desperate people did that…not some girl in my English class lol.

Meanwhile, older wiser you wants to go back and stooge-slap younger you and say “Dude….she gets paid to take her clothes off….MCFLY….HELLO!!!”

Thank God I only got dollar dances a few times.

Had a pentecostal friend that went down the rabbit hole and racked up some credit card debt.

I was talking about hitting her up for some off the books action, but that’s also good advice. Treat strip clubs like casinos: only bring cash, and when it’s gone, it’s gone.

I have a perfectly beautiful wife….I’m actually glad I was never promiscuous in my youth despite me being funny on here. Honestly I don’t think she even came off like that. Very quiet herself and that is kinda why I liked her roommate…she was the more flirtatious one and this girl was usually gone or detached from the party etc. I remember talking to her on the way and we both talked about working while going to school and not coming from much. I had a scholarship however to pay for school but she was paying for a semester at a time. I’m sure the last thing this girl wanted after being gropped and ogled all night was for some drunk college guy to do the same. Anyways I hope she finished her degree and never looked back! I know not much a climax to the story…actually pretty reflective of my college years lol!!!

I had no problem with that…I never had more than 100 bucks to my name at any one time in college lol.

I had A smokin hot gal in my EMT class YEARS ago and one of my City firefighter buddies swore he knew her from somewhere. After a couple weeks it came to him, it was from a bachelors party that her and her friend performed at for the guys. Well Bloomington only had two clubs at the time so I went into Private detective mode and did some reserch and found her.... Did I say SMOKIN HOT. I got a private dance and we talked about class.

We became lab partners. Even though it was pre covid, I just always made sure to wear my Personal Protective Equipment when we would hang out some evening. :)

Actually, a quite reflective and interesting insight, which is why I apologize for the following….

Back to Covid….

https://www.google.com/amp/s/sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/unvaccinated-andrew-wiggins-cant-play-home-games-even-if-he-gets-religious-exemption-from-nba-212836170.html

This stuff is just so crazy. So even if he tests negative they won’t let him play. No wonder the NBA likes China so much. Seems they took a page right out of the communist manifesto.

So the FDA has two of its top officials resign because of pressure from the Biden administration on pushing a wide rollout of boosters, then the FDA votes 16-2 to limit the rollout to only the most at risk elderly/high risk, then the CDC director a Biden appointee ignores that and announces a wider rollout of boosters. Are we still following the science or have we given up on that narrative and just pushing a political agenda? This stuff does nothing to convince unvaccinated Americans of the science behind the decisions. SMH…we continue to shoot our selves in the foot over the handling of this pandemic.

It’s always about a political agenda. I’m not saying there are never genuinely good intentions also sometimes, but there’s always a political agenda. And this is on both sides of the aisle.

We have got to follow the science to understand this thing. The only problem is that 75% of the science that we have to follow is political science, not medical. BUT, we've spent our 18 months in the barrel and now we can make better decisions. (although it ends up being what some of us suggested to start with).

There have been massive protests around the world, for weeks now. 100's of thousands of people, and growing. Yet its not being covered and basically pushed under the rug.  This thing is about to blow up I am afraid.  The mandates and passports aren't going to fly for long. Australia would be at war right now, if they hadn't disarmed their citizens years ago.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/25/opinions/johnson-and-johnson-covid-19-vaccine-news-ranney/index.html

On September 16, a preprint study reported the J&J vaccine maintained its effectiveness against both symptomatic disease and hospitalization between March and the end of July -- despite the rise of the Delta variant.

This finding suggests that J&J is strongly effective against this novel variant. In other words, J&J's vaccine has staying power.

Then, on September 21, a press release from Johnson and Johnson shared more promising data, suggesting with a J&J booster shot, protection against all forms of Covid-19 is, simply, excellent. After an eight-week booster, vaccine efficacy against severe or critical Covid-19 was almost 100%

I think as more people get vaccinated with Pfizer we will see more and more variants work around it. But some of the other vaccines might work better on them. I think mixing vaccines & boosters will be a popular thing.

Either people are willfully ignorant or sticking their head up their asses.

The one thing the powers that be need is for people to be divided. Well, they overplayed their hand and people are tired and frustrated and are uniting.

All I know is I won't give up anything if you know what I mean😉.

You guys are correct,  it has always been political.  Doesn't matter which side of the fence you pull for...  If this were Trumps mandates,  a very large portion of provaxxirs would be 100% against it, science be damned.

I kept waiting for Trump to take this seriously and create some smart, effective mandates - I would have 100% been behind his decision if he did. I don’t really obsess over what politicians do or don’t do regarding COVID anymnore. They are as a group, the most venal, hateful, and greedy people in our nation. We pay their salary so they can further divide us - it’s maddening.

Honestly,  think this has only been political b/c the politicians (and the people who follow them) are obsessed with keeping score and being right. It’s exhausting seeing how this has further divided us. I mean, I’m super liberal, but I can’t stand the yappy, far left accounts on Twitter who are still cryassing about Trump. I’ve muted so many of them.

Social media can be a great tool but I largely stay away from it.

I just wonder if alot of the hateful vile stuff people type is internet tough talk or if they really live their life that way. Sad if they do.

I always wonder the same thing. Would they say those things to someone in person? Probably not.

I deleted my Facebook profile about five years ago, and drastically cut down on who/what I follow on Twitter. Political accounts were largely unfollowed or muted. I am still on Instagram, b/c it’s a steady stream of dogs, road bikes, and gardening - the things that make me happy.

Just for balance, I tend to be more moderate/conservative and feel the same about those delusional far right accounts still acting like Trump was still in office.

I’ll change that to I guarantee that they wouldn’t. The stronger the language on social media, generally, the weaker the ability to hold the same conversation in person.
