Each day (Mon-Fri) will have 3 games and the polls will be open for 48 hours. I will try to post the new day’s games at noon EST.

The bracket was seeded sequentially by year (2020-1957) from most recent to oldest.

In the biggest mismatch of the tournament thus far, can SR A.J. Moye’s heart and determination will the 2004 Hoosiers to an upset of the NCAA 3rd place and Big Ten champion 1973 Hoosiers with Steve Downing and a future legend FR Quinn Buckner?

In the first game, Steve Downing and Joby Wright effectively shut down DJ White, while Bracey Wright goes 1-17 from the three point line, in an easy win for the 1972 team.

In the second game, the 73 team has to hold off a scare from the 2004 team.  After the game, Coach Knight admitted the entire game plan was built around stopping Patrick Ewing, only to realize after the game started that he was playing against Jr., not Sr.

In a twist of events Bob Knight knows he's going against Mike Davis' team so he decides he wants to go golfing early for lack of competition. During the game Knight gets right in Valentine's mustache after a call that even would have made Ray Charles say WTF! Knight uses his favorite word in a litany of different and colorful ways. Gets ejected from not two but three technicals. As Bob Knight is  walking towards the hall he turns and hunts Valentine out. So he walks right in front of him stops and turns his butt to him bows to the crowd and farts right in front of Valentine letting him know exactly how stinky that call was and proceeds to go get his clubs for the links. Because of the three techs Rod Wilmont steps up to the line to take 6 foul shots. After that harrowing display by Knight it shakes Wilmonts confidence in turn leads to Rod Wilmont rifeling all the foul shots off the back iron except one that magically went in. The 72 and 73 Hoosiers dispatch the 04 and 05 teams early in the second half and never look back.

Have to say I'm really enjoying these! Only wish they were seeded by actual talent instead of years but really loving it!

Glad (some) people are enjoying it. The seeding by sequential years produces some interesting matchups in the coming games/days that would never happen if it were truly seeded, so you may change your mind.

We once picked teams from IU's all time greats on John Decker's Hoosier Nation.  Got pretty heated at times.  No reason why we can't do it here. after this tournament is over.
