The opening game of day two has the “Wat-Shot” 2012 Hoosiers with future NBA players Cody Zeller and Victor Oladipo facing off with the Van Arsdale twins (Tom & Dick) and Jon McGlocklin of the 1965 Indiana team. Tom Crean takes his 1st winning team at IU to the court named after the man on the opposing bench, Branch McCracken in his 24th and final year with the Hoosiers.

In an intriguing matchup of 6’1” FR guards from IL, AJ Guyton and the 1997 Hoosiers will do battle with Isiah Thomas and the 1980 Indiana team. Both teams will be looking to bounce back from embarrassing exits from the NCAA tournament in their last games. 1997’s 1st round loss to Colorado and 1980’s lost to hated rival Purdue which lead to the Toiletmakers last Final Four appearance.

2012 vs 1965,

1965 makes a free throw to go up 2 with just a little over 5 seconds left.  And this is what happened next.  Christian Watford tosses it in to Verdell Jones.  Jones dribbles it up, tosses it back to Watford, who shoots.  WATFORD FOR THE WIN.....YES!

Saw where the 64-65 averaged 91.5 and that was only good for 5th in the country. Today that probably leads the country by a lot.

Yeah I don't think the 2012 Hoosiers could keep up with that pace.

1980 Team imo by a pretty wide margin.
