More Cowbell Posted March 26, 2020 Report Share Posted March 26, 2020 I know how much everyone is disappointed that the NCAA Basketball Tournament wasn't played this year. I came across a simulation that was done by the website FiveThirtyEight for both the men's and women's tournaments. It isn't quite as good as the real thing, but in the men's tournament they simulated Indiana as an 11 seed beating BYU as a 6 seed in the first round. I know there were three sub-10 seeds that made it to the Sweet 16 in 2013 (Oregon #12, La Salle #13, Florida Gulf Coast #15), does anyone know of any other year that has happened?
