Kicking off the 2nd round, the “oldest” team in the bracket, the 1957 Hoosiers advanced past the “youngest” team, the 2020 Hoosiers, in round one. Now they’ll face the 1989 Hoosiers fresh off a victory over their predecessors, the 1988 Hoosiers.

Archie Dees goes off on the '89 squad scoring 40 pts.  Unfortunately the '57 squad has no answers for Eric Anderson, Joe Hillman, or Jay Edwards.  Bob Knight's team opens up a double digit lead by the half and is never threatened.

The '72 team can not handle the frosh Buckner....'73 onto the next round.

The 73 team was IMO was taken out of winning the title by a reversed call against B. Walton and S. Downing. The call changed the game and let UCLA pull away instead of IU pulling away. I was in Army  I was listening on radio and Charge was called on Walton change to a block on Steve if remember correctly. I never have seen footage of it and if I am wrong I would like to know for sure
