In a perfect world, his mother and father would have never been divorced, he would have grew up in Indy rather than San Diego, and he would have led us to a Final 4. I watched him play quit a bit in San Diego. He wasn't far from where I lived. But the world is far from perfect. Edited June 9, 2020 by IndySportsPartizan 6

I think Leaf has been a better rebounder but I admittedly don’t know enough about Miller. The clips I’ve seen give you an idea on his skill set. With his range and mobility I think he can play the 3 on offense. An open question is whether he can defend a three, given the old saying “you are what you can defend.” He’d have to bulk up a ton to defend a four at the B1G level. So, does he have the agility and foot speed to defend a three? Length can sometimes make up for other deficiencies and he’s pretty long for a three. Yes..his defense and rebounding is very suspect...especially for a B1G program. He needs a weight and strength training to play the 4...or work on his agility for the 3. Discussed this with some others. It isn’t like Mike was known for his defense. Perhaps our scheme can help hide some of his deficiencies but Archie won’t play a kid that can’t defend his position. As for my comp it was Matthew Hurt...a slimmer/smaller version but a kid that can stroke it..lots of offensive moves in his arsenal but probably never asked to guard anyone in his career. Hurt lost minutes at Duke because he couldn’t defend...Miller will have to work at it for sure. That said his a specialist..NBA is full of them and he certainly could help us. I also don’t think this would influence Kaufman either. Definitely can coexist.
Bugsmall 7
Miller is the recruit I want the most out of the 2021 class. I believe he will be a star.

dgambill 4,763
Looks like he had a lot of fun with the guys. I don’t know for a fact but I heard Sam Mitchell was a big part of the basketball development part for the kids there and when he left I could see why Mike wants to take his kid elsewhere.

With Mason's dads connection to Ostrom, I think it could be a real possibility he ends up here. I can't see Kaufman not choosing IU should Miller pop for IU before Kaufman decides to pop. Think it’s probably a long shot but they can certainly play together. I could see Florida and others get more involved now that his dad left Memphis. Love the combo though.
