Anybody have songs, that when listened to closely, just boggles their mind?

For me, there’s the harmonies on Good Vibrations

...and The Strokes early stuff is just incredible. Every time I hear the chorus on Retililia, I just can’t wrap my head around how busy it is, without sounding busy.

A couple that stand out to me

History about Good Vibrations :

Good Vibrations

And this also stands out for me :

Kokomo

A number of years back. The Beach Boys held a concert at an out door facility within walking distance of one of my rental properties.  They were great. And I did not have to pay for parking, as I parked at my rental.

Not going out and about as much with Covid, you tend to forget about some things.

Well, the Fouls family just got back from a quick 5 day vacation.  It was a trip with a tight schedule of events, reservations, and just needing to be at a certain place at a certain time.

During the trip, this song popped into my mind more than once.

I gotta say that the new Taylor Swift album is excellent. Less pop, more folk/indie. Really surprised how much I liked it.

Yeah, we listened to it yesterday and it's pretty good. Have you ever seen her Tiny Desk concert? She's got some chops.

Today is my wife and I's anniversary.

This is the song we chose to be our song 12 years ago.  Do people still pick a song?

Congratulations!

I don't know if they do that any more, but this was the one for me and my wife...37 years later...
