Specifically at the SS, C, and one starting pitcher spots. Watching these SEC teams... we have a lot of guys that would play at those schools, but SS and C are a problem. I went through on another site how young we actually are... 4 of our better arms are FR and we play 4 or 5 different FR in the field or DH, as well. We've lost a lot the past couple years but to me when you are talking about building a program its about sustained excellence. If they can push through and somehow finish strong and make a little noise in the CWS then well that would make a huge difference in these freshman transitioning and leading next year with that experience and bring along the new freshman even faster hopefully. Mercer is 72-47. That's including ONLY conference games and only a loaded non conference last year. Just saying he hasn't had a lot of give mes the last two years.
