IU Baseball 2021

Watching more and more college baseball...

We aren't talented enough quite yet.  Specifically at the SS, C, and one starting pitcher spots.

Watching these SEC teams... we have a lot of guys that would play at those schools, but SS and C are a problem.

Attention IU!

BREAKING: The NCAA is expected to announce today that the baseball and softball championships will allow 100 percent capacity if local and state guidelines allow for it. This is massive news for both sports.

Very cool

Have to take 2 of 3 this weekend. I do think we are in if we do that.

Would love to see us finish strong...we've been building good momentum the past several years. Just kind of streaky this year...but fading at the wrong time. Like to see momentum continue with these good classes coming in.

I went through on another site how young we actually are... 4 of our better arms are FR and we play 4 or 5 different FR in the field or DH, as well.

For reference: Arkansas plays 2 in the field or DH, Vandy 1, Tennessee and Michigan don't play 1.

Great point. We've lost a lot the past couple years but to me when you are talking about building a program its about sustained excellence. If they can push through and somehow finish strong and make a little noise in the CWS then well that would make a huge difference in these freshman transitioning and leading next year with that experience and bring along the new freshman even faster hopefully.

Guy on another site said Mercer was exactly like Archie. Where do these fans come from? Obviously another planet.

Mercer is 72-47. That's including ONLY conference games and only a loaded non conference last year.  Just saying he hasn't had a lot of give mes the last two years.

We were 22-9 and then disaster struck. Losing 9 of our last 13. 13 games isn't a very big sample size.
