Just received a ticket renewal email. Season tickets are $864 each based on an 18 game season so $48/game. Parking for the season is $144 so $8/game. Priority renewal deadline is 6/30. Option to include Varsity Club donation in payment plan - details below:

We hope this email finds you and your family safe and well.

We are looking forward to the 2020-2021 season and hope to see you in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall once again. Here is a quick message from Coach Archie Miller.

In an effort to provide more flexibility and confidence while renewing your men’s basketball tickets, IU Athletics has introduced a series of fan-friendly changes to the 2020-21 Men’s Basketball Season Ticket application.

These changes include IU’s ticket purchase assurance policy for any canceled home men’s basketball games and a 5% down flexible payment plan that can now include your Varsity Club contribution.

Pay 5% of the total cost of your season ticket application and your annual Varsity Club contribution at submission. Your remaining balance will be automatically processed in four equal payments on:

July 31, 2020
August 31, 2020
September 30, 2020
October 31, 2020
The Ticket Purchase Assurance Policy, which was originally unveiled as part of the 2020 Indiana Football Season Ticket Renewal process, assures fans that if, for any reason, any portion of the 2020-21 IU Men’s Basketball schedule does not take place, ticket holders who purchased tickets directly through the IU Ticket Office will have the option to either receive a refund for the canceled game(s), or have a credit toward a future ticket purchase. This policy applies to all ticketed IU Athletics’ home athletic events.

Your Varsity Club membership level will be based on the amount that you pledge to contribute through Oct. 31, 2020. Priority Point statements will be sent prior to the 2020-21 men’s basketball seat selection process in late July. Your Priority Point total will reflect gifts received as of June 30, 2020.

If you have questions regarding how the payment plan will affect your Priority Point total, please contact the Varsity Club at 812-855-0866 or by email at varsity@indiana.edu.

I hope you do as well.  That is.... get to go to the games.

And thanks for being a loyal Hoosier Sports Nation member as long as you have.

Talked to my Varsity Club Rep yesterday. He feels confident that there will be football and basketball, just not sure whether with fans or not. Waiting on Big Ten to declare before communicating with season ticket holders.  Mentioned a 30% capacity option so that must be under consideration. Joked that it wouldn't affect football attendance much and that season ticket holders would likely get most if not all games. Basketball would be a challenge. Social distancing would eliminate every other row and require 3 seats between attendees. Good news is that the 3 seats would be between groups of attendees based on number of season tickets held. We will just have to wait on another communication from IU Athletics once things become clearer.
