He was at Anderson University before that where he was also the conference pitcher of the year. He’s been a successful hitter at those levels too but who knows if he’ll hit at all at IU. DC2345 Posted August 19, 2021 Report Share Posted August 19, 2021 Some more notes on Moran. Glant originally recruited him to AU out of high school. This summer he pitched in the MLB Prospect League, Grand Park League, and Cape Cod League. He has had MLB scouts showing interest the last 3 years his fastball has topped at 94-95 but sits high 80’s to low 90’s with a really good slider.
