milehiiu 9,549
Just a suspicion on my part. Another reason why Coach Knight agreed to make an appearance in Assembly Hall. Was the love he was getting from IU fans where ever he went. I read stories and saw pictures of IU fans showing him love in restaurants. And of course there was the appearance at the Bluebird as well. That's not to take away from the efforts of Randy. But IU had been trying to get Coach back for years. WIth no success. Moved back to B-town, cause that's where is doctors are. That was news to me. Thanks for the link Snowling. You are the best.

I wasn't able to watch that game in real time, so recorded it on my Roku. After finding out how bad we screed up that day, I've never been able to watch it.

It's a happy and bittersweet moment.
mrflynn03 2,614
I am an unapologetic RMK fan warts and all. I attended his basketball camps and spent some personal time with the man. Not as much as @Billingsley99, but I have to admit, this teared me up a bit
RJPaisley 182
Can't imagine how deafening it must have been in there that day. Just happy the fans had the opportunity to show their admiration before it was too late.
