Outdoors - Fishing/Hunting/Hiking/Etc

Highly recommend the right shoes for hiking. I have one pair of hiking boots but generally prefer hiking shoes. I got a pair of Merrell trail runners for my trip to Africa. Super comfortable. Think light weight sneakers with good traction. Those and my keen sandals were all I needed for 2 weeks.

Wife and I hiked Lions Head in Cape Town yesterday.

They do look comfy, and they have to be next to the standard issue boots...or the jump boots...or the jungle boots...

Look like they'd be kinda warm on the feet though...Waterproof?

Upon further research, not waterproof. Ugh. Took them back today and got some actual hiking shoes that are waterproof and made for hiking.
