IUFLA Posted June 22, 2020 Report Share Posted June 22, 2020 The 1973 NLCS was supposed to be a lopsided affair...the Reds won 99 games and the Mets 83...the Mets would have finished tied for 4th in the NL West... Anyway, here's Bud Harrelson and Pete Rose mixing it up after Charlie Hustle's hard slide in to second on a DP ball...the funny part was when after the brawl Pedro Borbon accidentally put on a Mets cap after it was over... IUFLA Posted July 1, 2020 Author Report Share Posted July 1, 2020 Here's another one...I remember exactly where I was for this one...I was a freshman in high school, and had walked home with my best friend and his brother (both huge Reds fans to this day). As we entered my house, my Mom had the game on, and Bench was leading off the bottom of the 9th... I did like seeing my friends deliriously happy...
